Lecture: Get to Know Your New Local Quilt Shops

Two new quilt shops opened in our area in 2024. Anne Warman     opened Warman Cozy Quilt Shop in Barrington, IL and Deirdre O'Riordan opened Sew Modern in Arlington Heights. Anne and Deirdre will tell us what to look forward to in 2025. Each owner will explain how they got into the business!  

Warman and Cozy Quilt Shop

Warman Cozy Quilt Shop is a modern-traditional quilt shop located in downtown Barrington, IL inside the historic Ice House Mall. Available online as well. Anne carries a wide variety of quilting fabrics, notions, and supplies. She offers an active calendar of classes, demos, and clubs for quilters of all experience levels. 

Sew Modern Quilt Shop

Sew Modern focuses on bright and cheerful fabrics with the modern quilter in mind. You will find the latest from Ruby Star Society, Kaffe Fassett, Libs Elliot, Fableism, and more. Plus there are kits, curated bundles, and a full line of basics to complement your creations.
